Common questions
Is the valuation an appraisal?
No. It's an estimate for planning, built from the information you enter and market data, using software and AI-assisted analysis. A business is ultimately worth what a qualified buyer will pay, and many factors affect that.
Can I use the number to list or sell my business?
No. Our estimates may not be used as a listing, asking or sale price. Before you list, sell or finance your business, get a formal valuation from a qualified appraiser or business broker.
Do I have to be planning to sell?
Not at all. Most owners use BizPath to grow profit and make the business run with less of them. The same improvements that raise value make the business better to own today.
Are there calls or meetings?
No. Everything happens in the app and in your weekly report, on your schedule. If you have a question, reply to any email and we'll answer.
How does the AI fit in?
Our system reviews your account every week, looks at what changed, and writes your Monday report and next step. Estimates can contain errors, so check anything important with your own advisors.
What do I need to get started?
